This definitely does feel like a product from the 2000's. And judging by other reviews, it seemingly didn't grab much peoples attention at the time of its release.

If only we would know what current animation online would become, I feel like people would be more forgiving towards this, which I am.

This thing definitely has one thing that I feel like most modern webtoons lack; compassion into their work.

And the fact that I got such a 90's/00's vibe from this is more than I can say for most animations now.

Pacing still remains an issue after a decade and a half later - flunking one of the most important principles of animation; timing.

But other than that one glaring flaw, this is a pretty decent piece of history here. I'm not sure how helpful my feedback will be towards an older animation, but I really hope the creator has improved, as I am curious to see what he is doing in 2023.

The outlineless, vector like art style is honestly a style that a lot of animations lack these days, and it's one that always has a nice regiment feeling within the art. The colors being mostly on the main and recurring cast also helps focus our attention towards them.

The biggest criticism I have is the overall lack of lip sync used within the animation. It kind of makes the animation of itself feel incomplete at times. The poses between the keyframes usually doesn't have in-betweens, which would probably help make the animation feel more polished if they were included. But if the lip sync issue was addressed, I think it'd make the switch between poses much more forgivable and more of a stylistic choice.

Otherwise, for a passion project, it's not that bad. It's more unique than a lot of other pilots or concept shows out there on the internet. It has its own style, and the writing helps aid it. The high school setting helps makes Luna's insecurities feel more justified (and relatable). As I said earlier, more time with the animation would definitely help the immersion of the pilot.

I watched this at an age I probably shouldn't have watched it at, therefore forever scarring me and leaving an imprint in my brain forever.
